The Return of Balder

In the shattered wake of Ragnarök, the Nine Realms teeter between ruin and rebirth. When a mortal touched by prophecy finds herself bearing the last ember of the First Flame, she must decide whether to reignite what was-or forge something entirely new.But when Balder, god of light and lost promise, returns not as a ruler but as a man seeking redemption, ancient tensions stir. Love, loyalty, and legacy collide as gods and mortals alike grapple with their place in a world no longer shaped by fate.Told through vivid first-person narrative, rich dialogue, and lyrical Norse imagery, The Return of Balder is a powerful tale of healing after ruin, of choosing peace over power, and of what happens when even gods must learn to walk among the living. In a world where legends are reborn, the brightest light is the one we share.
