Book 2 of the "Astaroth" series: In the wake of the betrayals and murders of the previous book, things seem to calm down, but this calm is more apparent than real. Julia and Thomas's situation-and their relationship with Daimon Aston-Roth-becomes increasingly complicated. New characters enter the scene, some younger, from the next generation, and others still unknown. Once again, unresolved situations, envy, frustrated desires, traps, speculation, and infidelities resurface. These lead to new confrontations-increasingly intense, even between Julia and Thomas themselves-and ultimately to several more murders. Meanwhile, the lack of concrete results causes Daimon to grow increasingly nervous, impatient, and aggressive, brutally revealing his true intentions and nature. After several unexpected twists, all of this culminates in a head-on collision with unpredictable consequences, leading to a final outcome marked by radical changes and a new beginning. This last one opens onto a horizon filled with great hope for some but also with many unknowns and dangers for others-consequences that could be far-reaching and overshadow everything that has happened up to that point...
