the Question is

The Question is the Question is a mental health concept album in poems: surreal, funny, wounded, strange, and stubbornly alive.Frank Questionmark writes from the hallway outside the panic attack, the movie playing too late at night, the old punk song in the car, the medication bottle on the counter, the family name people pause over, and the question that refuses to become a period.Across poems of recovery, horror, identity, grief, anger, pop culture, Filipino-American dislocation, creativity, and survival, this collection turns the inner life into weather reports, exit signs, static, basement lights, and small acts of defiance. These poems do not offer easy answers. They offer a chair for the grief.A flashlight for the monster.A signal from the room that would not stay quiet. The answer can wait outside.
