The Prize

Dear Victor,Congratulations. You've won an evening with a Lady of Mars, a.k.a. The Prize. I can promise your money has been well spent. The Prize has been trained in various forms of seduction. Her natural sensuality and flawless physique make a pleasurable evening inevitable.A blood test and physical evaluation will be administered at your convenience. Pending favorable results, you will be asked to sign a contract and fill out a form, which will be passed on to the Prize, stating your preferences and expectations.Thank you for bidding in the King's Auction. I have no doubt you'll enjoy this night as I enjoy all of mine.King Ekon of MarsFive hundred years in the future, mankind has migrated to a new solar system. The four migration vessels are now floating Kingdoms, orbiting habitable planets. One of those Kingdoms, Mars, is home to King Ekon and a crowd of beautiful women. The Ladies of Mars are content, complacent, and-most importantly-devoted to their King.Except Capri.Deemed unfit to take her place in the King's harem, the former favorite is forced into a new role: The Prize. Every two weeks, she is auctioned off to a Victor for a single evening with the expectation that she will make their wildest fantasies come true. One night, the Victor turns out to be Brody, a former palace guard and acquaintance of Capri's. Instead of bedding her, he stows her away on the ship where he works as a hired gun. For the first time, Capri is free to explore her own strengths and desires-but returning to Mars becomes unavoidable. There, she must outmaneuver her increasingly paranoid King and his ruthless Favorite to save Brody from execution and escape the Kingdom for good.TW: sexual assault, grooming, graphic violence, alcohol dependence, suicidal ideation
