Bol "The Pond" is structured around the disappearance of eight-year-old Dylan and the subsequent desperate actions of those closest to him!" The story quickly establishes a pervasive atmosphere of decay, addiction, and neglect within the Anderson home. Following Dylan's drowning (while Claire and Sandra were under the influence), the women, fearful of incarceration, make the chilling decision to conceal his death. "The Pond" is a complex, dark story that examines how desperation can fuel increasingly heinous acts, all watched over by a body of water that seems to exact its own terrible justice.
