Bol The Policeman and the Peacock are characters that I developed several years ago through a writing group I am a part of. I always wanted to have them published but I put them away and remembered them just recently. It is a collection of Bible stories based around the theme of friendship with God and with each other. They are stories I believe boys and girls can relate to and enjoy and also learn lessons from. It is my hope that the characters will touch hearts and cause kids to think about the value of good friends and their special friendship with God. David L. Millard. David Millard is the author and co-author a several other books, " Make Mayberry Real Again," " Joining Hands and Hearts " Volume 1, and " Joining Hands and Hearts " Volume 2. David has been writing for many years and created the characters in this book many years ago. David is retired vocationally from working with Special Needs Adults for over 42 years and has worked in a Special Needs Ministry in his local church for 50 years. David is married to his wife, Pattie and they have a married daughter Lauren. David also is creator of a Facebook Talk Show called " A Dollar and a Quarter " Club LIVE & also a local Andy Griffith Show Club.David's hope is that the characters in this book will minister to the hearts of children and teach them the importance of friendship and relying on God who is our Greatest Friend. Brian helped co-author the book " Joining Hand's and Hearts " Volume 2. Brian has been involved in Special Needs Ministry for almost 9 years in his local church. Brian is the co-teacher of the Special Needs Ministry. Brian is married to his wife Tina and they have a daughter Brianna and a son Brandon. They have 2 grandson's Brycen and Oliver and a third grandchild on the way. Brian is an HVAC technician vocationally and loves to fish and spend time with his family.
