The Place Between

Estelle surprises everyone, most of all herself, when she trades a tropical spring break with her girlfriends for a ski trip in the Wasatch Mountains with a brand-new crush. This bold bet on love turns her world upside down. What begins as a romantic escape quickly unravels into unsettling coincidences, the arrival of an unwanted guest, and a voice she can't explain pulling her toward something ancient and inescapable. As the trip spirals, Estelle is forced toward a truth she has long buried, and a version of herself she may not be ready to face. The Place Between is Act I of a three-part novel, a modern-day vision quest about what happens when the life you've carefully constructed begins to crack and the only way forward is inward. This is a story about self-love - not the gentle kind, but the kind that demands Estelle confront every fractured piece of herself and choose to stand in her own becoming. A reckoning that leads to a quiet, hard-won discovery: she was never missing anything to begin with. Not in spite of the cracks. Because of them.
