The PERSON AND WORK OF JESUS CHRIST: Half Has Not Been Told

Who is Jesus Christ? For nearly two thousand years, that question has confronted kings and commoners, scholars and skeptics, believers and seekers. Yet Jesus Himself made the question deeply personal: "But whom say ye that I am?" - Matthew 16:15 THE PERSON AND WORK OF JESUS CHRIST: The Half Has Not Been Told invites the reader to encounter Jesus through the testimony of Scripture-who He is, what He accomplished, what He is doing now, and what He will yet do. Beginning with Christ before Bethlehem and moving through His incarnation, sinless life, teaching, miracles, compassion, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, present ministry, and promised return, Dr. Raymond E. Smith presents a Christ-centered study that is both biblically grounded and deeply personal. But this book is more than a study of Christology. It is an invitation to behold Christ. See His holiness without harshness. His authority without arrogance. His compassion without compromise. His power toward the helpless. His grace toward the broken. His courage before hypocrisy. His restoration of the fallen. His sacrificial love at Calvary. >Written for believers who desire a deeper understanding of Christ as well as seekers honestly examining the Christian faith, this volume does not ask the reader to abandon reason. It invites the reader to examine the biblical testimony and confront the evidence concerning Jesus Christ. The Queen of Sheba once traveled to see Solomon after hearing reports of his greatness. When she finally saw him for herself, she declared: "Behold, the half was not told me." - 1 Kings 10:7 Jesus later declared: "Behold, a greater than Solomon is here." - Matthew 12:42 Come and behold Him. The half has not been told.
