the Other Side of Mirror

In a city drowning in rain and memory, Detective Wallace Scott is called to a brutal crime scene-one of several in a chilling string of murders. Each victim is posed with symbolic precision, each scene marked by a shattered mirror and a chess piece left behind like a signature. The city sees a serial killer. Wallace sees something else. Something he can't explain. As the investigation deepens, the lines between detective and suspect begin to blur. Old traumas resurface. Patterns emerge that feel too personal. And with each step closer to the truth, Wallace is forced to question not just who the killer is-but whether he's been chasing a reflection all along. The Other Side of the Mirror is a dark, cerebral thriller that explores identity, repression, and the quiet violence of grief. It's the first in a planned two-book series and stands on its own as a complete, emotionally resonant narrative. With its psychological complexity and noir undertones, the novel blends atmosphere with introspection, offering a story as much about the past we bury as the monsters we become.
