The One they Missed

Set in Vesper City, a fictionalized version of New York City in 1965, everything changed the day that eight year old, Vincent Cole watched in horror as his entire family was slaughtered by the infamous Vassaro crime family.Shortly thereafter, they vanished-like smoke in the rain. The Vassaros thought they were thorough. They thought no one was left to remember. They were wrong. Now, twenty years later, Vincent is back. No longer a scared little boy, he's a man forged in silence, honed by fury, and fueled by one relentless mission: to erase the Vassaro name from the city's bloodstained streets. But revenge is never clean. To tear apart an empire, Vincent assembles the broken-from ex-cops, to battle-scarred veterans, and even those the Vassaros thought they'd buried. Together, they set a war in motion no one can stop. And when the smoke clears, only one name will be left standing.
