The Murder at Willow Creek: A Sheriff Bud & Deputy Ricky Adventure

Sheriff Bud & Deputy Ricky in Lights Out at Willow Creek¿When a blizzard traps the most despised man in town-Harlan Thorpe-and his feuding family inside a creaky Nebraska farmhouse, things go from frosty to fatal. By morning, Harlan is found dead in his armchair, a poisoned whiskey glass at his side.Enter Sheriff Bud, a small-town lawman more used to chasing runaway cows than catching killers. With his overzealous Deputy Ricky (who treats every barn like a crime lab), Bud is suddenly in charge of a house full of suspects-each with a motive, each with a half-baked murder plan they swear they didn't follow through on.As the snow piles up and tempers boil over, Bud and Ricky must stumble, sip, and folksy-say their way through a stormy weekend of secrets, squabbling, and slapstick crime scene mishaps. Everyone wanted Harlan gone. Everyone tried. But only one plan actually worked.Fans of Agatha Christie and laugh-out-loud comedies like Murder Mystery will love this small-town whodunit where every suspect is guilty... but only one had the nerve.
