I am not the hands or feet that act, Nor the eyes or ears that sense and react.I am not the earth, nor water's flow, Not fire, nor wind, nor the sky's glow.I am not the five life-force, That keeps this body-cell alive.I am not the mind, nor thought, nor feeling, Nor the inner tidesof rising or healing.I am not the chakras, seven in line, Spinning deep with energy divine.I am not this form you see-I am pure consciousness and eternally free.I am the blissful Self within, Untouched by sorrow, free from sin.I am the soul, serene and still, Beyond the body, beyond the will.This body shall return to dust, As all things fade, as all things must.But I remain, I do not die-I am eternal, I am the Soul.
