The Mark

Some secrets are buried. Others are carried beneath the skin. Nineteen-year-old Hayley has spent her entire life with a strange mark etched across her skin. She calls it Demon. She doesn't know what it is. She doesn't know why it sometimes burns beneath her fingers. And she has never understood why her grandmother seems to know more about it than she's willing to say. Then Demon begins to change. Ancient symbols appear in the forest. Ravens gather in unnatural numbers. A stranger watches from the shadows. And questions about the parents Hayley barely remembers become impossible to ignore. Searching for answers draws Hayley into a world she never knew existed - and towards Ash, a guarded young hunter whose connection to her feels as unsettling as it does familiar. But Hayley isn't the only one searching. Something has already found her. And it has been waiting a very long time. The Mark is Book One of The Intertwined Trilogy, a slow-burn fantasy romance of forgotten magic, found family, hidden histories and a connection neither of them understands.
