The Mantle of Love: A Verse by Commentary 1 John

This book was originally something I taught as part of my Holy Love Bible School in the form of lectures. It was 17 hours of recorded teaching which is now being presented to you in the form of this book. The title of this book is The Mantle of Love. Just like Elijah passed his prophetic mantle on to Elisha in days gone by, God the Father (who is love) wants to pass his mantle of love on to us, His Christians and witnesses of Jesus Christ in this world! A mantle is simply a shirt! It is something that we wear, either physically or spiritually. Please consider that God wants us to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, who is love, and allow the holy conduct and character of Jesus Christ to be our spiritual clothing. By wearing Christ and His love, our lives will be transformed daily into the image of Jesus Christ. This is what it means to wear the mantle of love. By wearing this holy mantle of love, people will see God's love for them flow to them through our lives. This is the true grace of God, when you allow God to influence you to love Him and others. >May the good Lord lead you deeper into the bonds of love and holiness through the message contained in the following chapters.
