The Lighthouse Jam Shop

Or the fog that steals memories.Burned-out weather mage Maren Foss arrives on the island of Merrow expecting to settle her late aunt's affairs and leave as quickly as possible. Instead, she finds a shuttered jam shop perched above a salt-grey harbor, a neglected garden full of secrets, a cryptic old recipe book written in generations of careful hands... and Wick, a large orange cat who seems to believe the shop is still very much under his management. Then Maren discovers that on Merrow, fruit can hold memory, intention can be sealed into glass, and preserving is a kind of magic all its own.But the fog curling around the harbor is wrong. It doesn't move with the wind. It doesn't lift with the tide. And little by little, it is taking things the island cannot afford to lose.To save the shop she never meant to keep-and the island that is beginning to feel dangerously like home-Maren must master a quieter kind of magic before Merrow forgets what holds it together.Perfect for readers who love magical shops, found family, slow-burn belonging, mystery-laced cozy fantasy, and unforgettable animal sidekicks.
