The Light at Thyme Creek

This second book in the Thyme Creek Series continues the friendship between Stuart, a cyclist on the Raccoon River Valley Trail in central Iowa, and Abby Tilton, a quantum entanglement time traveler who studies the nature of reality in order to help people. In this story, Stuart and Abby meet two very young trail travelers from Chicago and unravel a series of events in order to connect them with family. Characters joining the series are Charlie Tilton, Sheriff of Greene County; Jennie, a teacher; Dowser Duggan, the owner of a motorcycle shop; Benito Perez, director of children's services for the region; Daniel Kent, County Attorney; and Johnny Popper, an elderly collector of two-cylinder John Deere tractors. It takes all of their skills, including some time travel, to help the young trail travelers in this quirky psychological mystery. Suitable for middle school through adult readers.
