Bol What happens to a thought after it crosses the mind? The Law of Conservation of Thought is a collection of poems about the strangely tender and mildly contradictory experience of being human.Moving between science and metaphor, memory and imagination, love and loss, identity and growing up, these poems examine the thoughts we carry, the feelings we struggle to name, and the questions that refuse to have simple answers. Some poems are quiet observations. Others are restless, absurd, playful, or painfully honest. Together, they trace the invisible landscape of a human mind-where beauty can be both comforting and cruel, where a single memory can outlive the moment that created it, and where even the thoughts we try hardest to forget may leave something behind.Part poetry, part philosophical inquiry, and entirely concerned with the human experience, The Law of Conservation of Thought invites you to pause, look inward, and perhaps recognize yourself in the thoughts of another. -------------------- NOTE: This is my first collection, four years in the making. Its poems began as thoughts scribbled on chits and loose sheets of paper, in notebooks and margins, at school and at home, and slowly found their way into the collection you hold today. I hope there will be many more to follow. There are still countless thoughts to chase, pages to fill, and stories waiting to be told.
