As they travel through carriages filled with distorted passengers and collapsing moments, Hina explains that each section of the train is anchored to lost versions of time, and Ren's existence disrupts the system's ability to categorize him. When a system alert signals an incoming "memory clearance event," it becomes clear the train is not just transporting passengers but actively editing or erasing fragmented realities, and Ren's undefined status may represent either an anomaly that breaks the system or something that was never meant to exist within it at all.
