The Last Refusel: Book 6 of Permanence Cycle

In The Last Refusal, the final book of The Permanence Cycle, the world faces the consequence it never planned for: what happens when survival itself becomes unethical. After the right to end was acknowledged, something breaks-not the system, but the illusion holding it together. Some choose to continue. Some choose to disappear. And one man refuses both. Not life. Not death. But the system's demand that existence must be resolved. As societies struggle to regulate ending, immortals fracture into ideologies, and silence becomes more dangerous than rebellion, a single unresolved presence becomes a precedent the system cannot categorize. This is not a story about dying. It is about who owns the decision to remain. Dark, philosophical, and deeply human, The Last Refusal concludes The Permanence Cycle without offering comfort-only clarity.
