The Last Dragon of Frostveil

Sixteen-year-old Kael Arwyn has always heard mysterious whispers beneath the ice surrounding Frostveil Valley, but he never realizes their true meaning until the frozen mountain awakens and the legendary Last Dragon of Frostveil calls to him. After learning from his grandmother that his ancestors once swore an ancient oath to protect the dragon, Kael journeys into the frozen mountain and discovers a colossal dragon imprisoned beneath the ice by magical chains. The dragon reveals that it was trapped a thousand years ago by humans who feared its power and warns Kael that the ancient seal keeping the Winter King imprisoned is beginning to fail. The Winter King, an ancient enemy responsible for destroying the dragons and covering Frostveil in eternal ice, is preparing to return, and the dragon cannot stop him alone. Kael learns that the only hope is to restore the broken Dragon Oath, a forgotten promise between humans and dragons, and agrees to become part of the alliance needed to protect the world. As the mountain begins to collapse and the ancient chains break, the Last Dragon finally spreads its wings after a thousand years, marking the beginning of a new bond between human and dragon and the return of an ancient war against the darkness beneath the frozen world.
