The Last A Train: Rockaway Summers Volume 1

Rockaway, 1969. Four Hunter College girls share a two-bedroom bungalow on Beach Channel Drive, determined to make their summer free of parents, exams, and boyfriends. But their idea of freedom is unconventional. To keep their chaotic summer in order, they draft a "Roommate Compact"-a set of rules including chores, quiet hours, and a specific consequence for breaking trust: a public, bare-bottom spanking with the family hairbrush. What starts as a bureaucratic joke quickly becomes a thrilling, forbidden game. As the summer heats up, so do their desires. The spankings bring a rush of shame and unbidden arousal; the boys bring new temptations; and the world outside their bubble shifts with the moon landing and the Stonewall riots.Bea wants order. Sam wants chaos. Daphne wants peace. And Jude watches it all, captivated by the power dynamics and the electric intimacy developing among her friends. Can they keep their virginity pact intact, or will the summer change them forever?
