Bol The tale opens with Donncha, a young farmer whose life has unravelled. His crops have failed, his horse has gone lame, and his debts threaten to swallow his family farm. The villagers pity him, but no one can help. Donncha feels cursed, convinced that fate itself has turned against him. One stormy night, as he walks home from the tavern, he mutters aloud that he would give anything for a change in fortune. His words drift into the darkness, where something ancient listens. The stage is set for a meeting that will alter his destiny in ways he cannot imagine. The PÚCA: THE TRICKSTER OF PROPHECY awaits him in the shadows of Fintan's Cave.
