A building that has implemented the Internet of Things can be called a smart building that can control building operations such as fire and safety, security, automate and control air conditioning, ventilation, etc. A smart building uses sensors and microchips to collect and manage data according to functions. And the services of such an infrastructure building help the owners, operators and facility managers increase asset performance, reduce energy consumption, maximize space utilization, and minimize the environmental impact of buildings. Systems must be designed to allow for maintenance and adjustments. In simpler terms, the Internet of Things is a network of sensors, meters, appliances, and other devices that are capable of sending and receiving data.
