The Illusion of Peace in Social Hierarchy is a book, that criticizes the concept of 'world peace'. The author of this book expostulates that 'peace is an illusion', and we are always at aversion with people who are of different opinions, people we do not like, enmity with nature, enmity with animals, religious zealots are at enmity with spiritual forces, even Mother Nature is trying to kill you. Throughout the course of human history, man has maintained peace with his neighbors, but man has never achieved peace. Man's successes in maintaining peace in certain situations, has led to boastful illusions and exaggerated beliefs of attaining 'world peace'. This Book does not view peace as the absence of armed conflict within a particular period, but rather, peace as the lack of animosity, hatred, malice between individuals and countries at large. This book argues peace from a 'heavenly concept', and tries to surrogate that situation in Human/International relations.
