The Hollow Between

When Velma takes the train from London to a quiet South Wales village, she expects a brief escape from her hurried life. Instead, she finds silence where answers should be, villagers uneasy when she utters one name: Flora. Flora, who tended sheep on her family's farm decades ago. Flora, who walked with a scholar named O'Callaghan into shadows where folklore and faith collided. Flora, who - according to one whisper - "walked into a story and never came back." Drawn by cryptic gravestone carvings, forgotten letters, and her own grandmother's diary, Velma begins to unearth a tale that refuses to stay buried. The further she follows it-through archives, ruins, and dreams that feel like memories-the more the boundary between past and present thins. As Flora is pulled toward a shimmering threshold in the ruins, Velma feels the same pull a lifetime later. Both women stand at the edge of a hollow between worlds, faced with the same impossible choice: remain, or step through. Part gothic mystery, part folklore-laced ghost story, The Hollow Between is a haunting tale of women whose lives-across time-become bound to the spaces where history fades into myth.
