The Great Divide: Alive in Christ or Dead Sin: 5

We are living in a time when many ideas about God sound right... but are quietly leading people away from life. Some believe that everyone will ultimately be saved. Others assume that being sincere or living a good life is enough. Many hold to a form of faith, yet remain unchanged at the core. But what if the real issue is not behavior... but life itself? In The Great Divide, Dr. Rich Johnson explores a question that cuts deeper than belief, morality, or religion: Are we truly alive to God... or still spiritually dead?Drawing from Scripture with clarity and a pastoral voice, this book walks through: - What happened in Adam-and why all humanity is affected- The reality of being "alive outwardly, but dead within"- Why many sincere people remain spiritually disconnected from God- The growing pull of universalism and why it feels so right-but falls short of truth- How to evaluate belief systems with one simple question: Does this require new birth?- What it truly means to be born again-and how life begins in Christ- How to live and walk in the Holy Spirit once that life has begunAlong the way, this book gently but clearly addresses competing voices-from cultural thinking to alternative belief systems-and brings everything back to the unchanging foundation of the Gospel. This is not a book about becoming more religious. It is not a call to try harder or do better. It is a call to something deeper.A call to life. With warmth, honesty, and biblical conviction, The Great Divide invites readers to move beyond surface-level faith and into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.Because in the end, there are only two conditions: Alive in Christ... or dead in sin.And that difference changes everything.
