The Goat In Machine: A Leadership Field Guide To Turning AI Activity Into Measurable Impact

Two thousand people completed the training. What can they do now? That question sits at the center of this field guide. Most organizations mistake AI activity for AI capability. They count completions, licenses, and prompts, then report the numbers as if motion were the same thing as progress. It rarely is. Jay Bell spent two decades inside complex insurance businesses and now runs a homestead where the fences get tested by something that does not care about strategy: his goats. Peanut finds every gap. Jellybean asks the question you were avoiding. Together they turn a leadership guide into something you actually want to read. Inside you get one clear argument about what to measure, the foundation of the Enable, Elevate, Evolve framework, a set of field tests you can run this month, and a nine-question self-assessment for your leadership team. Start with reality. Walk the fence.
