The General

Exman splaingens to tap tapping first person who needs a blarb in third, a blurb chucked out by the pram wheels. The growl is a hint of the roar. Wheels go wonky or straight like speak-to-text and can't look like the news and can't stop looking. Can't write and can't stop writing, slab centre a year of it and then generalsplain manex, The General. President haha deputy hee. At least I might come out looking like something someone could disapprove of.'Why do I trust Hanson? Because his is embodied, emotional, affecting work driven by the urgency of the need to communicate rather than to curate ego for gain, status, prestige. You don't have to agree with what Hanson is saying, but he invites you urgently, generously to engage in dialogue. Thus too might we unfold ourselves out of our own bodies of language, renewing ourselves in the process.'- Scott Thurston
