This is no love story or feel-good story, but a life filled with struggle, hardship and depression. In a fight to be seen but often forgotten, growing up with a mother, divorced parents, sister and under the rulership of a grandfather who belittled and tormented. Fighting each day to survive, finding faith with inspiration from great figures in the bible, grounding him to be a great father and husband, educator and a person of substance. Joseph Gutierrez is no politician, titan of business or a celebrity, but a regular Joe, the forgotten son.
