The Five Gnostic Sacraments

This is one of the most detailed books on the five Gnostic sacraments in print. It expounds in great detail the passage in The Gospel of Phillip, which says, "The master [did] everything in a mystery: baptism, chrism, Eucharist, redemption, and bridal chamber." Baptism is the sacrament of initiation. Chrism is the sacrament of empowerment. Eucharist is the sacrament of thanksgiving. Redemption is the sacrament of ascension. And the Bridal Chamber is the sacrament of intimacy. All of this has to be understood in light of the Gnostic Christian's view of the priesthood of all Gnostic Christians.
