The Five Covenants

ONE WAY OUT. TWENTY-FOUR LIVES. A SECRET THAT COULD DESTROY A KINGDOM. Tavin Irel has found a way out of Grey Sluice-but it is only wide enough for one. Take it, and he is free. Leave, and the prisoners behind him will pay. So Tavin chooses the impossible: get all twenty-four of them out. Among the escapees are workers who have glimpsed fragments of a hidden undertaking-ancient mountain roads restored, survey crews isolated, men moved before they can understand what they are building. Every clue points toward Teren, the homeland Tavin has spent years trying to reach. But the roads are watched. The wounded are slowing them down. And ruthless pursuers are closing in. Their best hope is Sena Dareth, an archer who can read a trail, hold a pass-and carries a name Tavin has never been able to forget. To warn Teren, they must survive the journey. >ESCAPE WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING. The Five Covenants is Book One in an epic fantasy series of impossible choices, prison-break tension, political intrigue, found family, ancient secrets, and the cost of getting everyone home.
