Oliver Doyle is going to die, and it won't be a pleasant death either. There will be blood and looks of horror from the crowd gawking at the sight. This much is known. It has been written as much in a woman's journal, recorded not because it's the outcome she wants but because it's her duty to witness as much. Or so she thinks. But she can't change much of his fate. She's never been able to prevent any of the deaths she has seen. But Oliver's death will cut her far deeper than all the others did. She's seen too much about him to not be devastated by the loss. But perhaps, the blow can be softened if she can grant him one last wish for love, or the fantasy of it, at least.
