the Embrace: Christ Hidden in Stories We Thought Knew

In The Embrace, Steeve Kinyoro takes us on a journey through the hidden architecture of Scripture - revealing us a thread (or pattern) that weaves from Genesis to Revelation in perfect harmony around Christ. Starting where Christ Himself started, on the road to Emmaus, this resource explores how covenant, sacrifice, descent, intercession, exile and restoration intermingle in the person of Christ. Familiar narratives disclose a greater design through biblical typology, rather than speculative allegory. But the stories of Adam and Jacob, Joseph and his covenant union, as well as redemption are combined in circles anticipating Christ but they did so with staci. This book explores: Christ is the interpretive hermeneutic of Scripture Prevenient grace and the priority of salvation over crisis >The Embrace leads the reader out of the chaos of fractured meaning and the errant pursuit of sordid pleasure to a redemptive vision in which every piece unwinds toward its end, Christ.
