Bol In this article I recount the experience of leaving Curitiba/PR on a 125cc Honda motorcycle, heading for the city of Natal/RN with the aim of visiting schools along the coast to research the effects of anxiety on learning. At the same time, it enabled students, parents and teachers to learn about controlling their own breathing - Pranayama - as a metacognitive strategy capable of controlling anxiety, increasing concentration and strengthening self-esteem.
