The Dreaming Gods

Paul Elliott is a young anthropologist on track for the comfortable career in academia he's always wanted. But when his former mentor discovers an impossibly ancient artifact bearing signs of human intelligence, Elliott's investigation opens the door to a psychic mystery stretching back to the beginning of life on Earth-and into the innermost reaches of the human mind. The Dreaming Gods is an exhilarating metaphysical thriller exploring alternative states of consciousness, the paranormal and the limits of science."Skillfully interweaving metaphysical interludes, intellectual debate and a love story, The Dreaming Godsprovides a thought-provoking, entertaining and convincing argument for, among other things, the merits of retaining an open mind."- Colin Stanley, author of First Novel and Novel 2
