The Dehkhoda: a collision of cultures

A man who traps in the Dakota's wanders into a small store that sits within a fort. There, he finds an old coin dealer who has several old and mystical coins for sale. The trapper purchases one antique coin that leads him on a quest for life's answers. The coin yields a spiritual philosophy that all human beings, regardless of their faith, ideals or religion, can come to feel its ecstatic influence on their soul. With the help of a Persian Immigrant and thirty families heading westward, the trapper discovers that he has the answers within himself. The story never deals with the main character who does not appear, accept at the beginning and the end. This tale is the true metaphor of the Alpha and the Omega. Likewise, the trapper yields the truth in prose and poetry. Please accept the apologies of the old trapper who wrote this odd story, as it is based on a one thousand year old text that is united with the conversations of the immigrants who joined a wagon train westward for the ultimate quest.
