the Decisions You Can't Undo: Protecting Guest Experience

Most hospitality projects don't fail the guest experience because of poor execution. They fall short because of early decisions that quietly lock in outcomes long before opening. The Decisions You Can't Undo is a short decision guide for owners, developers, and senior architects responsible for long-term asset performance. It focuses on the small number of upstream choices that permanently shape how a place feels, functions, and performs - regardless of budget, talent, or intent. This is not a design book. It does not offer inspiration, trends, or solutions. It exists to help decision-makers recognize which choices carry irreversible consequences, and to protect the guest experience before those decisions are locked.Written for principals who value clarity, timing, and responsibility.
