Moreover, superficial religiosity manifests in practices that prioritize rituals and appearances over authentic spirituality. Many believers engage in church activities as a social obligation rather than a sincere pursuit of God. Worship services can become performances rather than genuine expressions of faith. This shift leads to a disconnected discipleship that lacks deep engagement with biblical texts.
