The Death Dealer

He was one of their best agents. Now, to protect an innocent child, he's on the run from them. Kin Decker is an agent for the Department of Planned Population Growth. His job is to hunt and "retire" those whose actions have caused the government to revoke their life certificates and place a bounty on their heads. Normally these are violent criminals. But today Kin is showing a recruit that their profession carries untold dangers even in the simplest and lowest-value cases. Like investigating an infant illegally born. They retrieve the baby without any trouble-except the trouble Kin brings on himself by not retiring the child immediately. That decision puts a bounty on his own head. A fast-paced science fiction thriller, The Death Dealer follows Kin as he wrestles with the question of why he's chosen to spare this life even as he tries to survive being hunted by departmental agents and others looking to collect on the double bounty.
