The Cressington Legacy

Wesley Cressington was a man of steadfast faith in the truth of a higher power and purpose. He was a man of courage, with fortitude that moved him beyond the threat of peril and persecution. He was a man of conviction in the value of all human souls and in the integrity of the cause to preserve them. He was a wealthy, yet benevolent man, who read Scriptures by the light of an oil signal lamp, as an "angel" on the Underground Railroad.The character of Wesley Cressington and the love and devotion he shared with his wife, Judith, a "mulatto," influenced the lives of four generations that followed them. Seen in their progeny were faith that sometimes faltered but never failed; courage to fight existential wars and spiritual battles; and conviction that all would be well with those who lived with honor and died in hope.
