the COVERING: Finding Lost Glory of God

>Finding the Lost Glory of God >What was lost in Eden-and what did God intend to restore? Before shame, fear, separation, and death entered the human story, humanity was created to live in intimate fellowship with God. The story of Eden is therefore more than the account of humanity's fall; it is the beginning of a much greater story-a story of loss, promise, conflict, redemption, and restoration. THE COVERING takes readers on a sweeping journey from Eden to Christ and ultimately toward the restoration promised in the new creation. It explores the biblical theme of humanity's lost glory and the covering God provides through His redemptive plan. Drawing primarily from Scripture while also examining ancient Jewish and Christian writings-including 1 Enoch, the Book of Jubilees, and The Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan-this book explores the ancient traditions surrounding the events before and after Eden, the serpent's deception, the spiritual conflict surrounding humanity, and the preservation of God's promise through generations. Follow the unbroken thread of the promise through: The kingdom before Eden The anointed cherub and the spiritual realm The Watchers and their ancient traditions The fall and the loss of the covering The conflict that followed humanity's fall Seth, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob The preservation of the promised Seed The coming of Christ The victory of the cross The restoration of what was lost The hope of glory in the new creation But this book also asks a deeply personal question: If the covering was lost, can it be restored? The answer of the Christian gospel is yes. The promise given in Eden finds its fulfillment in Christ. What humanity could never restore through its own efforts, God accomplishes through His redemptive work. The covering is not merely a memory of something humanity once possessed-it points toward the righteousness, reconciliation, fellowship, and glory made available through Christ. THE COVERING is an invitation to look beyond the familiar story of Eden and discover the larger redemptive narrative running through Scripture: Paradise lost. Promise given. Redemption fulfilled. Come and discover the story of the glory that was lost-and the covering God has prepared in Christ. The Seed has come. The victory has been won. >Come. Drink. Live.
