the Clockwork Castle: A Smoke Green Dragon Book

Rosie Haze has never met a machine she did not want to understand, so when Smoke the Green Dragon leads her into a strange kingdom powered by gears, springs, keys, and ticking clocks, she cannot resist exploring. Bridges fold themselves across deep valleys, metal birds flap through the sky, trees turn on hidden gears, and even the roads seem to know exactly when to move. But something has gone terribly wrong. The great castle clock has stopped, leaving half the kingdom trapped in endless daylight and the other half beneath a frozen moon. Three living keys have disappeared, Smoke's green smoke mice are causing trouble inside the machinery, and every broken gear seems to reveal another mystery waiting to be solved. With Smoke calmly enjoying the chaos beside her, Rosie must cross moving staircases, repair a brass dragon, follow clues through the clockwork kingdom, and discover why the missing keys ran away in the first place. Can she find a way to restart the castle before the whole strange world winds down for good?
