the Broken Link: strength of mended chain

Your history is not your prison sentence - it can become the ground from which you rise. For years, Franca Bartella carried what she calls a "chest of silence" - inherited expectations, cultural pressures, family patterns, and pain that was rarely spoken aloud.Behind the roles of wife, mother, daughter, and caregiver, she learned to keep going. Until life broke open. The end of her marriage through divorce, followed by a breast cancer diagnosis, forced Franca to confront not only what was happening around her, but everything she had buried within. In the breaking, she discovered something unexpected: Being broken does not mean being finished.Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, in which broken pottery is repaired with gold rather than hidden, The Broken Link explores what happens when we stop concealing our scars and begin seeing them as part of our strength.Through a deeply personal story of divorce, illness, family, identity, inherited silence, and rebuilding, Franca explores what it means to reclaim your voice and create a life no longer defined by the expectations or wounds of the past. This book is for women ready to: - Reclaim their voice and sense of self- Break patterns of silence carried through generations- Navigate divorce, illness, loss, and major life change- Release limiting beliefs and old expectations- Rediscover courage, self-worth, and inner strength- See their scars not as evidence of failure, but of survivalPart memoir and part invitation to reflect, The Broken Link is ultimately a story about what remains when life changes everything - and the strength that can emerge when we choose to rebuild.Healing is not about erasing the cracks. It is about discovering the strength in the repair. The Broken Link: The Strength of the Mended Chain is a story of resilience, self-discovery, and becoming whole in a new way.
