The Bosworth Reckoning

Some wounds never heal, festering for centuries until blood demands blood. The Kendalls and the Standishes, two noble English houses, were bound by fate and fractured by betrayal at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. One family soared to power on the wings of treachery; the other plummeted into obscurity, their ancestral lands stripped away, their name a whisper of what was lost. Five centuries of quiet resentment forged a legacy of resilience for the Kendalls, while the Standishes enjoyed unchecked dominion, their arrogance growing with their fortune. But even the mightiest fall. As the Shandish's star dims in the roaring 1920s, the Kendalls, now humble farmers, watch from the shadows, their inherited grievance simmering, waiting for its moment to ignite. In 2015, the past erupts into the present. Jake Kendall, a successful businessman, unknowingly crosses paths with Christian Standish, the entitled scion of a diminished dynasty. The ancient betrayal, a ghost in Jake's blood, suddenly finds a face, a name, and a target . What happens when history's long shadow finally catches up to the present ? Revenge, they say, is a dish best served cold. But for Jake, the taste of justice, generations in the making, promises to be an all-consuming inferno. Will he succumb to the corrosive power of inherited hatred, or can a centuries-old feud finally be laid to rest without further bloodshed?
