the Black Stag and Winter Queen

Seventeen-year-old Elara Voss lives in the northern village of Everfrost until an unnatural winter suddenly arrives in the middle of summer, freezing rivers, destroying crops, and awakening ancient magic. Drawn into the mysterious Frostwood Forest, Elara encounters Vaelor, a magical black stag with crystal antlers who reveals that he is the last guardian of the Winter Realm and that the legendary Winter Queen, believed to have vanished centuries ago, is actually trapped by an ancient curse. Vaelor also reveals that the Winter Queen's magic lives within Elara, causing her dormant powers to awaken and making the forest itself respond to her presence. As Elara follows Vaelor toward the Frozen Sanctuary to uncover the truth about her connection to the forgotten queen, she learns that true leadership comes not from possessing magical power but from protecting life and making difficult choices. However, their journey is threatened when cursed Frost Wraiths emerge from the frozen river, revealing that the darkness responsible for imprisoning the Winter Queen has awakened and intends to steal winter forever. Elara must now discover the truth about her mysterious heritage, master the powerful magic within her, and decide whether she is willing to become the guardian the frozen north desperately needs.
