Bol The Black Pages: Dystopian Cyberpunk: Five Gothic Horror Cyberpunk Flash Fiction Short Stories. A Dark Dystopian Horror Collection of Corporate Afterlives, Soul Extraction, Leased Corpses, Sealed Towers, Rented Bodies, and Neon-Soaked Terror. Five stories. Five screams beneath the neon. In The Black Pages: Dystopian Cyberpunk, the future is not bright, clean, or merciful. It is a dying city of acid rain, corporate afterlives, soul-mining prisons, corpse-leasing contracts, sealed luxury towers, and bodies rented by the hour. This is cyberpunk with its chrome torn open. A son pays three credits to visit his mother in a budget memorial cloud, where the dead are compressed together like bodies in a digital pauper's grave. But something has formed in the cold storage beneath abandoned grief, something that learns doorways through the voices of the dead. A prisoner works in a corporate mine beneath the earth, digging lumin-ore for towers he will never enter. When the ceiling splits open and a machine like a false angel descends, he discovers the final clause of his sentence: even his soul has been marked for extraction. A morgue technician receives his sister's body on the intake lift, already leased to a neural-motor training company. Then her implant begins to speak. She is dead, conscious, terrified, and legally owned. A cleaner enters Mercy Tower, where the rich live above the smog in filtered air and artificial gardens. But the residents have fed too long on stolen youth, and the tower AI would rather preserve their dignity than save the staff trapped inside. A Market worker rents her body for one hour and wakes three days later bruised, bloodied, and accused of murder. Her client does not exist. Her memories are gone. And something may have learned how to come back wearing her skin. Continuity. Essence. Lease. Mercy. Proxy. Five self-contained Gothic horror short stories set in a brutal dystopian cyberpunk world where death is privatised, grief is monetised, memory is compressed, corpses are leased, souls are collateral, and the human body is never entirely yours. For readers who enjoy dystopian horror, cyberpunk horror, Gothic sci-fi, corporate horror, body horror, technological possession, bleak future fiction, dark speculative horror, and stories where survival is just another contract waiting to be enforced. Some futures do not arrive. They repossess you.
