What starts as an offer of help turns into a harrowing ordeal of violence, humiliation, and abuse.Through Stephen's eyes, we witness not only the depths of human cruelty but also moments of unexpected kindness-from the stranger who helps him, to the officers who listen, to the justice system that steps in.Told with raw honesty and vivid detail, The Bike is a powerful exploration of innocence shattered, the strength to endure, and the quiet acts of compassion that help light the way back.
