Bol The big yellow dog wants one thing: a place to belong. Chased away by a grumpy storekeeper and dodging rocks thrown by a group of boys, the big yellow dog runs away. Tired, hungry, and all alone, she curls up in an old shed for the night. She dreams of someone to love her.The next morning, Sadie and Grandma Carrie discover the frightened dog hiding in the shadows. With a bowl of water, a couple of sausages, and a brand-new name-Goldie Girl-Sadie shows Goldie what kindness feels like. The Big Yellow Dog is a tender story about compassion, second chances, and how one brave girl helps an abandoned dog find her forever home and teaches a whole town that choosing kindness is always the best choice.
