the bellmakers: book one

The Bellmakers, the first book in a trilogy, is a psychological thriller set against the glittering backdrop of Nice and the sun-baked hills above Marseille-a story of influence, control, and unintended consequences.Imagine a world where you could never be certain whether the thought pressing at the back of your mind-insistent, impossible to ignore-was truly yours, or placed there by someone else.Who could you ever trust again? There are people, bellmakers, who can place a thought in your mind so compelling that it becomes your own conviction-your own free will. You would never know it wasn't yours. You would never suspect. They have protected their secret for centuries. Moving quietly through the world-smoothing out life's injustices. Carefully. Anonymously. But not everyone who could be a bellmaker should be one. Some mistakes cannot be undone. Some decisions will haunt you for the rest of your life.
