The Assignment

"The Assignment: What It Means to Be Haitian" is not just a book, it's a spiritual manifesto, a declaration of identity, and a tribute to one of the most powerful nations ever to rise from the ashes of slavery. In these raw, poetic, and fiercely honest chapters, the author invites us to see Haiti not through the distorted lens of media headlines but as a divine training ground. A sacred crucible. A place where only the bravest souls are sent. From ancestral voices to modern struggles, from the scars of colonization to the unbreakable rhythm of resistance, this book tells the story many are too afraid to say out loud. It explores what it truly means to be Haitian, and why the world fears that identity. This is for every soul who has walked with Haiti in their heart. This is for: The warrior. The dreamer. The survivor. This is for you.
